they do it cause they always 'hear it through the grapevine' and it's always a power struggle. even if they are feeling you like mad they take their time responding. personally if i know i have something going i just joke around like "oh is it gonna be like this, i'm gonna time my response at least one minute later than yours so i get the upper hand then" - which is a way of dealing with it without sounding hurt

anyway you are probably texting just one chick and laying all your hopes on her, jsut relax with that. every at least 4/10 chick is gonna have 5 guys texting her so you do the same. and if you cant do that, just pretend you're busy.

and if you're stuck in a rut always 'innocently' get into sexual topics like "omg you see that kim k pic" and get it that going like that eh
