its a problem because the wealthy have become even more stronger in US politics and our politicians are even more beholden to money. Give more money to campaigns, the more they are likely to apply rules in your favor. Its sort of like bribery.

Capping the limits, in theory, makes every individual's money and stance be equal. It has been the disturbing trend in US politics the last 5 years.

It is.

Basically you have companies and rich individuals buying elections. All this money comes with a price if you win the election, you have to payback your donors. Whether that be sweetheart deals or loosening laws.

The Republicans have been doing this for years with their boys in the desert and the Koch brothers.

Biggest winners might be the TV networks.. All that extra ad money. :blessed:

What I don't understand is how they convert those donations to vote ? It was more the sense of my questions. It's one thing to donate but can't there only be a reward if the supported politician wins ?
