Blame Isak for having a stinker of a season and then Sociedad quoting telephone numbers. And the Barca fraud and Pepe making it difficult to spend that much on a player with no PL experience.

I mean, Arsenal spent a record fee on that captain save a Ho Pepe… so I’m sure that made them reluctant to take that kind of risk again…but then we spent 65 mil on Havertz

Granted he had PL experience but still… I wonder how much his release clause is.

But it wasn't good PL experience to warrant spending 65 mil on him
yeah I know he scored a goal in a CL final but so did śmicer, would you been spending 65 on him ( or the equivalent giving the time era)
