Valencia are 19th in laliga. :dahell:

They are going down this season. They’ve been flirting with relegation the past few seasons.

It’s a shame whats happening to one of Spain’s and Europe’s biggest clubs.

I’ll take Pepelu and Javi Guerra though :ohlawd:

You know too much bruh, your brazilian footy knowledge is impeccable :myman:

But this time around it was a fellow fan and supermarket moguel that took over from R9, PedrinhoBH as he’s known, owner of about 600 Supermercados BH in the state and nearby region, hes a huge fan of the club so he’s getting business done, however fans have been against him maintaining Diniz..I want the recent Libertadores champion to stay…its gonna be a long season
Bruh.... I can easily claim here and almost amywhere my level of knowledge of world football is almost untouchable..... I am not just a fan..... I've been an obsessive my whole life. When I moved down to Latin America as a young lil kid and getting imtroduced to futbol I became hypnotized by "el pasión del juego" and what it means for anybody south of mexico.... compltely intoxicated by it......

Bruh some nights I be watching Serie B. I could take it back for you to the days of Paolo Nunes playing for Gremio in that Libertadores run and his little blond hot blooded ass, now the man is a calm well. measured with um poco de picardia comentarista for SporTV.....

My life is to just travel all around the globe amd soak up footy culture on the well known paths but also the unbeaten paths of the world.......from watching a United vs Liverpool to Santa Cruz at the Arruda I want to be there...
:wow:

Watched the Madrid match, then caught the last 8 mins of this....... banger.....

How did Sporting manage to draw this game?

Ever since Amorim left the club has been in a downward spiral. They looked like they were gonna walk the Portuguese league but different case now.

they just brought in a new coach.... ironically from the team they just drew. They looked more intense than they had since Amorim left

Top, top, posting, as Jamie Redknapp would put it.

The only thing I’d say is that the BBC article, and I did not read it fully, seems to miss that a lot of these players, take Guehi for example, were transfers from big academies. Liverpool & City have a ton of ex-cademy players who have left them and are now in the England squad.

I’m trying not to seem as if I’m being contrary for the sake of it, nor pedantic unnecessarily, but, without the start at the major academy, and the foundations that gives to these lads, I’m sure many of the, would now be in very different careers.

I wish more young players would take the Championship route, or even lesser league abroad. Not all of them can be superstars, internationals, or even have long careers in the PL, so I’d think there comes a point where actually playing competitive matches would be more beneficial.

Ian Wright was another who came up from non-league. I think Palace was his first professional club, and then to Arsenal. He was fukking brilliant, definite PL legend to me, but shame about the international game never really going for him. I was fukking gutted how it ended at Arsenal. A real blot on our fans, although Wrighty, from memory played his part too.
Wrighty was just unlucky he was in an era where we were blessed with serious talent up front
Shearer, Sheringham, Fowler, Cole & Ferdinand

he didn't get his first cap until Taylor picked him early 90's and we didn't get to another world cup till 98

In-between them years we had Venables in charge who favoured the Spurs players over other players and didn't really pick him

It also didn't help him getting injuries at the wrong time just before tournaments like 98

The man is without doubt is a PL legend and one of the best strikers we have ever produced
