And Gerrard was Judes fave player growing up.
Yeah was at Birmingham. Tbh I don't think it's that he's not good enough to be at the top level. I think it's more to keep him out of the spotlight and let him develop. Like I said Mike Dodds is basically a family friend to the Bellingham's at this point the fact that he works for Sunderland also makes the Bellingham's feel like Jobe is being looked after.
Brighton fans are stunned because they missed out on a another big payday. Lol. You just cannot tell when someone is going to get it. Look at someone like Vardy went from conference Premier to the Championship looked OK in the Championship and struggled in the first year in the PL and since then could be considered a PL great/legend.
BBC Sport looks at the English Football League background of England's players at Euro 2024.

Saves me writing out the names.
He's only 19 doesn't need to be at a top club yet. What top club is he going to play regularly for at the moment? Spurs are playing Archie Gray everywhere but his actual position and I don't see much between Archie and Jobe tbh.
Top, top, posting, as Jamie Redknapp would put it.
The only thing I’d say is that the BBC article, and I did not read it fully, seems to miss that a lot of these players, take Guehi for example, were transfers from big academies. Liverpool & City have a ton of ex-cademy players who have left them and are now in the England squad.
I’m trying not to seem as if I’m being contrary for the sake of it, nor pedantic unnecessarily, but, without the start at the major academy, and the foundations that gives to these lads, I’m sure many of the, would now be in very different careers.
I wish more young players would take the Championship route, or even lesser league abroad. Not all of them can be superstars, internationals, or even have long careers in the PL, so I’d think there comes a point where actually playing competitive matches would be more beneficial.
Ian Wright was another who came up from non-league. I think Palace was his first professional club, and then to Arsenal. He was fukking brilliant, definite PL legend to me, but shame about the international game never really going for him. I was fukking gutted how it ended at Arsenal. A real blot on our fans, although Wrighty, from memory played his part too.
