I think that might be of been the hip injury he had. Because he played 50+ games last seaso.

The only question is? Is Madders really a #8? Brodgers phucks about with the formation a lot and Madders played on the left right and #10 last season with a couple of games in CM . He would definitely fit as a insider forward role but Kulu is probably the better fit on the right. As he does give the pace that Conte likes on the counter and Kane likes to drop deep which is good for Son Kulu and Richarlison to run into the space. But with Kane dropping deep will he be getting in Madders way?
