Malacia had a lot of space going forward but looked very hesitant, not knowing whether to cross or pull it back.

Same issues as always against deep defending teams. Without Sancho there's nobody with any craft to break down the defense.

You could see the difference instantly when Eriksen came on, finally someone that can pass through the lines. But with a fred-vdb-eriksen midfield there's only so much that can be done.

Maguire did well, other than missing easy corner headers, and Dalot is still mediocre.

Saw that we only made 3 subs and Atletico changed the whole team, guess there's some minor context.

But ETH needs tells Murtough to hurry up with them transfers, cause it ain't looking good.
