Appreciate what he done and think it's got to the point he is so underrated and it's a shame how his career has gone and what he could have had if he stayed but he made his choice and we've not missed him

They weren't Barca tho. Liverpool hadn't won a league title in nearly 30 years and hadn't played a CL final in over a decade.
Liverpool's success came immediately after he left in Jan 2018 (went to the CL final a few months later and grew from there) but Coutinho wasn't to know that.
10/10 players are leaving 2018 Liverpool for sunny Spain, higher wages and a chance to play with Messi.

Nah it was a silly career move, at that price you should be the man and you were never gonna be with Messi, he'd had enough time under Kloppo to see what was being built. Fully understand the allure of Barca and understand the choice he made but there was a choice to be made, he picked the wrong one and Kloppo told him the score
I probably come over as bitter and I'm not unlike a lot of our supporters, loved the moments he gave us, don't like the way he left but it didn't hurt us and we levelled up
