Atleast till the end of the season? I don't know how good he is. I know his RBL team were pretty good but he sounds like a good interim option.

The godfather of the German press. He's more or less German Bielsa. Like LVG will use younger players without hesitation. He's a very intense character which phucked with his health iirc so that's why he ended spending more time as DoF and then as global head of RB recruitment over the last decade. So his contacts book especially for young talent is A+. Could say he built part of Liverpool's squad.

Iirc he was coach of that Schalke side that made the CL semis when they had Neuer and Raul.

Is it possible for Rooney to keep Derby up in spite of point deductions? And if he does manage it, does it make him the best of Fergie's 'disciples'?

Newcastle not testing the goalkeeper from that freekick with Dunk was in net was wild. Opted for a farting chip rather than lacing it :mjlol:

Yeah it's still possible to keep them up. They'll have to make up the 5 point gap first before anything else. Also there is still a potential 9 pts deduction at the end of the season to consider. Last season 44 pts was enough to stay up the year before that was 49. I think Rooney would have to try and get to 55-60pts to make it safe for Derby if they do get hit with another points deduction. But with the squad being very thin and young isn't looking too possible. If they can find a buyer in time for the winter window that will be a big help.

He been dying to coach in England since the 80's. But I'm not sure if Rangnick would be readily willing to work in Uniteds current structural set up as it is fairly new it's self and I don't see them abandoning it so soon for Rangnick even tho he's better and has far more experience than all of the people in those roles.
Unfortunately Manchester United find themselves in the same situation the Knicks were for the last twenty years, before Leon Rose/Thibs took over. Actually probably even worse because at least Dolan was throwing his money around.

The whole club structure from the board, directors, PR to Ole and his coaching staff is full of incompetent lackeys and they don't want to break that chain and get exposed by someone who knows what they're doing.
