That was never the case. Xavi never took over in the summer was more political. Xavi was tied to one of the candidates that Laporta beat in the elections. Hoeman getting sacked only sped up Xavis hiring by 6 months as Laporta was always getting rid of Hoeman.

The Rodgers thing is much different than the Kimmich situation. Not only did Rodgers lie , but the league and his team knew he lied and protected him.
Per his comment he said he was “immunized”. While it does give the perception that he is vaxxed, he technically never lied about being vaxxed. But he was being cute about it. If GB knew this was the case, then yea I can see the issue.
Kimmich was getting torn apart by Mario Gomez, even Bayern players get tested like a every couple days for COVID.
People need to give this thing a rest and quit with the virtue signaling. Uber driver I was with the other day said parents who don’t get their kids vaxxed should have them taken from them

There is a very narrow scientific definition of immunization. It is explicit that a vaccine has been given. A small molecule like ivermectin, zinc, berries or whatever the hell he was taking can’t be considered immunizing agents in the cutest sense. This privileged bum straight up lied and potentially exposed colleagues, journalists etc. The league and GB were fully aware and did nothing punitive. The bolded is what I’m going at. Potentially, maybe, possibly. All conjecture.
People are operating on the belief that if you’re unvaxxed then you’re harbouring covid. That is not the case. He could have only passed covid along if he had it at the time. But we don’t know. He could be vaxxed and still spread covid.
Would you rather be in the room in with 10 unvaxxed people that don’t have COVID or 10 vaxxed people that have COVID?
Are we trying to solve for covid or vaxx status?

This is what I don’t get about French football, there seems to be so much variation across the clubs in terms of who’s challenging at the top end of the table.
PSG is really the only constant at the top. Monaco, Lille, OM, Lyon all flip flop. Bordeaux and Montepellier were champs at one point, now they’re midtable…
