Yeah Bayern are lucky that they are so above of their league but it's a gift and a curse. PSG suffered from that in the Ibra era because they never really managed to rise to the occasion. Bayern on the opposite will and they can still dominate CL teams.

2 years ago, they won the CL without losing a match. Last year they utterly dominated PSG but Lewa was injured and they would have buried the tie in the first leg otherwise.

My opinion on them is that as long as Lewy is good, they will be so because the ball will end in the box with certainty and Lewy has been the best striker of the past 2 years. He's their biggest variable IMO.

They were absolutely dominant in 19/20 and deservedly won the CL. If they are still at that level then they will be hard to beat. PSG rode their luck last season befiore knocking them out (which annoyed me because I really wanted to see how they'd have played against Man City). If they are still the same team then fair enough.

IMMIGRANT TETHERS
This current Bayern would destroy Madrid and Liverpool
oh please

Bayern and Liverpool are practically even with Pool having the better backline. they play the same high press game but Liverpool also has more midfielders who are better on the ball(Thiago and Fabinho). there will be no destroying.

I'm not convinced they beat Madrid comfortably either. If Modric and Kroos aren't burnt out by the knockout stages, I can also see them by-passing their press and spraying the ball to Vinnicious on the break. Bayern's backline can easily be got at. they also bought high energy midfielders like Valverde and Camavinga who are probably also better on the ball than any Bayern midfielder.
sorry, but you guys do this every year with Bayern

destroy?

Lol, Gladbach is a team that just does well against them yet they still got routed 6-0 5 months ago. You're just picking and choosing :beli:

i was just talking about the defence specifically with regard to the issues with liverpool's defence that were referenced above.

gladbach selbst :yeshrug:

didn't MU do that in 1999 and 2008. then in 2009 and 2011 got slapped up by pep ball twice in 3 years.

from google teams that won the CL without losing a game are as follows ...
