I feel bad for Nuno… I still think he’s a good manager but the timing was all wrong for him. Spurs are in such disarray, it was too tall of a task for him to take on.

Nuno is a midtable coach. Wolves having injury crisis and a smaller squad every year masked his shortcomings. All Nuno is good for is getting a result vs Pep.

I think you’re doing him a disservice. He led wolves back to the PL after a 6 year absence. He made them a solid mid-table team.

Yes, his talent definitely reaches a ceiling but Spurs are in such a state right now, it would take a miracle just to get them performing with consistency. Most managers would’ve struggled.

Not doing Nuno a disservice at all. The football under him each season in the PL has become worse. Wolves have played better football in the first couple of months under this current coach than they ever did under Nuno. Cautious first half see what happens and then see if we can nick something in the second half is cool for a midtable team. But that doesn't work with top players expecting to compete for trophies especially when your training methods are the exact same as a more successful coach who was sacked before him in the same job and who had lost the players and players weren't working hard enough.

Let's keep it reality if Adama wasn't so enjoyable to watch people would of questioned Nuno football a lot sooner at Wolves. If Nuno was English you wouldn't be saying he was done a disservice you probably be front of the line saying about time :camby: It's telling that Palace spoke to him and decided that they rather risk it with Vieira ball then go for another year of Woyball just under a different coach.

The only disservice that had been done is Nuno not going to a back 3 and playing Harold and Son as a front 2.

Conte knows united are not serious about sacking ole. Plus he's desperate to get back out there and coach so he might just end up at spurs :ehh:

Levy looking real smart dumb out here. His penny pinching costing him

Looks like he hit a lick with Poch and the squad he had and just decided to ride it till the wheels fell off

Refused to refresh the squad under Poch but two severance packages later is about to pay steeply for Conte's services and give him a bag

Unless he no longer rated Poch

Minus the CL run Spurs were poor from Feb that year till Poch got sacked. The end of the season followed into the new season so Poch had to go tbh based off form and results. The rape and pillage by Bayern at Levyland was the final straw. Now Poch was right that he saw it coming and told Levy he needed to refresh the squad and Levy did sign off on over 100m+ to strengthen the team but without selling players whose time was up at Spurs it was rather all too late.
