Were Manchester United. Signing Ronaldo does not hinder us from signing a CM or two. Only the owners being tightwads and not understanding ball, stops us from doing that. Ronaldo sells shirts and tickets it’s a no brainer to them. Ronaldo is just an easy scapegoat for folks

we couldn’t press for shyt before him but suddenly it’s all his fault. Folks are just looking for simple answers.

It's not that you couldn't press. It's the fact you went out and signed the ONE man who could come into the club and say "fukk you I'm NOT pressing and you better not ask me either." :pacspit:

It's one thing to not have the personnel it's another to actively go out and sign a player that is the direct antithesis to what your team needs to do to succeed. Goals were NOT an issue at ManU, a fragile ass back line and the middle of the park were the issues. A efficient press can mitigate some of those problems. But instead Man U went for the MLS signing and wanted to get the press clippings for a few weeks. Now that teams KNOW they won't have a their back line under pressure they can move their midfield up, play the passing lanes and save a fukk ton of energy. Ya'll lucky it wasn't 7 or 8 - nil.

That comes down to the tactics, the front office and the culture of the club. But ultimately the team's shape IS hindered by a man who is one of the best to ever play but isn't ever going to fit into THIS game plan. Ole been getting carried by individual talent for two seasons now. But with CR7, none of those other players have the flexibility nor space nor courage to get some of those results.

If your owners "understood ball" the Ronaldo signing wouldn't have even been thought of.

Most of these United legends are fukkin clowns. There is no better way to say it.

They rather defend their friend than think what's best for Man United.

Fuk you. Gary Neville, Paul Scholes fukk you.

Conte? Tactically maybe what we need, but do we have the players he'd want? We don't want another 2 years of saying 'he needs a couple more transfer windows to make it his team':unimpressed:

Yes.

Conte will:
  • have Penaldes running through brick walls
  • make McFred the greatest double pivot in the league
  • turn Sancho into the best RWB in Europe.
:unimpressed:

It's just proof that all they want is a name. Conte would be a disaster eventually. We'll be here in 18-24 months discussing who's going to replace him once he inevitably falls out with the board because they won't spend 20mil to bring back Darmian.

What you're missing is that within those 18-24 months is that Conte will turn your mob into a winning juggernaut. :unimpressed: The guy is obsessed with winning.

I feel like everybody is kinda exaggerating with this defeat. Granted Im not a ManU fan :manny:

Aint no shame in getting smacked by Liverpool which on current form is probably the best team in England with Salah being red hot and likely the best player in the world or at least the most impactful right now.

It could have been a bit closer but on paper, even with a competent manager, current ManU was never winning this match.

They were embarrassed though... that's the key. if they lost 2-1 nobody would have said much.. there would be people calling for Ole out but not like this..

Man U isn't supposed to be toyed with at home. Not with those players they have. Liverpool was playing half speed. They could have won 8-0 if they wanted to. That's not supposed to happen to Man U at home :russ:

They basically have the players for him to play 3142/343 straight away. Unless he goes back to wanting to try 433 a again. As Conte hasn't really pulled up any trees in the CL with his 3 at the back.

When Bruno gets told me he's a midfielder and has to play like one instead of trying to be a pseudo SS :mjcry:
If Conte takes over Bruno will be the biggest loser. He has the work rate to play for Conte but his free reign to do whatever he wants will be over :francis:

ManU has some kind of aura that I dont get. Like they are some royalty that are above peasant things. For a club that hasnt won shyt for 4 years, that's rich:pachaha:

Bayern got smacked at home by Real in CL. Barca got smacked at home by PSG and numerous others in CL. Real got dominated by Barca in the Bernabeu in la Liga plenty of times. It happens. I guess that it's the drop too much for many and I understand but people are kinda forgetting that Liverpool are elite and that they have been a far better club than United for years now.
