The day has finally come to crown the Coli's Official Album Of The Year 2021. Thanks to all who contributed to the nomination process, but we must bid a fond farewell to the albums which missed out on the finals by one or two votes. Good albums as they were, they just didn't have enough support to pip them over the finish line in the end.

With regards to the finalists, however, and although there are a few outliers, I think it's safe to say the Coli's taste in 2021 leaned heavily towards the classic "boom-bap" sound in hip hop, with 7 of the 13 falling under that umbrella.

Suffice to say, they're all great albums and worthy nominees for this years AOTY selection.
