Fat Dan still a hater I see. Like Barrera didn't break smith jaw with one of them uppercuts he was money on all night or like Barrera wasn't boxing Generic Joe ears off all the whole fight save for the knockdown.
That one got me because I agree with your take and I know he has gone after fans before in his chats when they pull that crap.

Lomachenko: I'm Ready To Fight Guillermo Rigondeaux Next!

By Radio Rahim

According to WBO super featherweight champion Vasyl Lomachenko (8-1, 6 KOs), he is ready, willing and able to fight WBA super bantamweight titlist Guillermo Rigondeaux (18-0, 12 KOs) in the fall.

The two fighters are currently two weight divisions apart. If Rigondeaux wants the fight, he will have to move fast as Lomachenko is already mulling another move in weight, to the lightweight limit of 135-pounds.

A few weeks back, Lomachenko's manager, Egis Klimas, called on Rigondeaux to come up to 130-pounds to show that he was actually serious about the fight. Rigondeaux responded, and accepted the super featherweight limit of 130.

Top Rank's CEO Bob Arum, who promotes Lomachenko, claims his office has yet to receive any communication from Rigondeaux's handlers to make the fight a reality. Arum tried to make the fight happen in the past, on HBO, but claims Rigondeaux wanted an extraordinary amount of money.

The contest would match two A-class boxers who both captured two Olympic gold medals and are widely regarded as two of the best amateur boxers of all-time.

Lomachenko would like the contest to take place sooner than later.

"I've told my promoter for a long time that I want to fight him. When he first brought up the subject.... the very first time we started talking on Instagram or Twitter, that he wanted a fight with me - I called my manager right away and told him 'make this fight happen.' What else do I have to do? I don't know. But I'm ready to fight him," Lomachenko told BoxingScene.com.

Next up for Lomachenko is an ESPN televised world title defense, on August 5th, against Miguel Marriaga at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles, California.

As far as Rigondeaux, the WBA recently ordered him to have a mandatory rematch with Moises Flores. They met last month at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. Initially, Rigondeaux scored a controversial first round knockout. But after commission officials determined that Rigondeaux had hit Flores after the bell, the Nevada State Athletic Commission changed the official result to a no-decision.

Jose Pedraza vs. Mickey Bey in Talks For August 22, Las Vegas

By Miguel Rivera

There are currently ongoing discussions for a battle of former world champions.

An off is one the table for Puerto Rico's Jose Pedraza (22-1, 12 KO's), the former IBF champion at super featherweight, to face the former lightweight champion under the same sanctioning body, Mickey Bey (22-1, 10 KO's).

If a deal is reached between the two parties, the contest would take place on Tuesday, August 22, in Las Vegas. Fox Sports 1 would broadcast the contest and it would be part of the events connected to the big fight week - where on August 26th Floyd Mayweather Jr. will return to the ring for a showdown with UFC superstar Conor McGregor at Las Vegas' T-Mobile Arena.

Mayweather is Bey's promoter. Pedraza's adviser, Al Haymon, is also involved in a close working relationship with Mayweather.

The biggest problem in making Pedraza vs. Bey, at least right now, is the money.

According to Luis Espada, the father, manager and trainer of Pedraza, they were sent a very low offer for the fight.

"We have a contract on the table and about an hour ago they gave us an ultimatum. We want the fight with Bey and we are willing to go to his house in Las Vegas. But they are offering us 25 thousand, that's embarrassing," Espada told Jose Sanchez.

Pedraza has been out of the ring since January 14, when he suffered the first defeat of his career. The boxer lost his IBF title when he was battered and knocked out by Gervonta Davis in Brooklyn, New York.

Bey has been out of the ring even longer. He lost his world title last June, when he dropped a twelve round decision to Rances Barthelemy at the Hard Rock in Las Vegas. Prior to that, Bey had won four in a row since getting stopped by John Molina in July of 2013.

Good matchup for both Pedraza & Mickey Bey, but that purse offer to Pedraza:hhh:

Dan Rafael chat wrap 7/21:

- LSC vs. Mares 2 could be announced any day.

still not sure why exactly we need this, first fight was decisive enough for me to not truly want to see it again.

- Lubin vs. Charlo? Loves Lubin, but it may just be too soon for him to fight someone as experienced as Charlo.

As experienced as Charlo? Charlo's edge in experience is overstated it gives me Brook vs Spence vibes where many acted like Brook would be some vet jut because he had a little better resume than Spence. Charlo's best win is Martirosyan, his 2nd best win is someone like Charles Hatley or John Jackson. Is that big of an experience?

- No guarantee that Wilder vs. Ortiz will be made as Stiverne is currently refusing to step aside.

fukk him, he got tested positive for PEDs anyway, what about that, there were no sanctions? I doN't remember but it seems there were no sanctions.

- Danny Garcia could fight Spence next in an interim bought with the winner getting the right to fight Thurman.

I think that might be a typo, Porter ranked ahead of Garcia on the WBC rankings so he rather wanted to write Swift vs Porter.

- Barrera fought well against Smith Jr., but we have to keep it real that Smith had a broken jaw for most of the fight. He got schooled by Ward and doesn't think he fares much better vs. Stevenson.

Broken jaw or not, he got taken to school. Even when his jaw wasn't broken he got taken to school, despite of the flash KD.

also he can :camby: with putting Stevonson's skill level on a similar level as Ward's. Stevnson has a big fukking left hand and knows how to use it but once someone takes that away...

- Connor has a better shot at beating Floyd in the boxing ring than Floyd does in the octagon.

:hhh::picard:
How this fool can say this

One of the best practitioner or a more than 100 yrs old professional sport against a newcomer who's supposed to be a good boxer in his sport in a boxing fight

VS

an outstanding fighter in a 30 yrs old sport who as I know almost never eager to grapple or wrestle but rather box against one of the best boxers ever in an MMA fight

Of course Mayweather would stand a better chance against McGegor in MMA than reversed. :gucci:

Gilberto Ramirez: I Won't Let Jesse Hart Run, I Want Him To Fight

MAZATLAN, Mexico - The super middleweight world champion of the World Boxing Organization (WBO), Gilberto "Zurdo" Ramirez, will travel to Los Angeles, on Sunday, where he will continue the training camp for the second defense of his title against undefeated American Jesse 'Hard Work' Hart.

The Ramírez vs. Hart showdown will be held on September 22 in Tucson, Arizona. Which leaves a space of two months, enough time for Ramirez to reach the level required for a world championship fight.

"The strongest stage of preparation has already arrived, to travel out to Los Angeles to start [the full camp]. I am very focused on this fight and the truth is I am very motivated by the opponent. I hope give the fans a good spectacle and I hope that Hart comes out to fight, as we are Mexicans."

gilberto-ramirez_4.jpg

Both boxers will stake their undefeated records. The champion marches in with a record of 35 wins with 24 knockouts, while his challenger has 22 wins with 18 knockouts.

From the moment the contest was confirmed, Ramirez and his team went to work and made a game plan focused on what they know and what they have seen from Hart. They want to prevent Hart from using his style of evasive boxing - which they believe he uses to slow down the pace of his fights and avoid any toe to toe contact.

"We have studied him for two years. We have followed him during his trajectory and we have been looking at the progress that he's had. He is a fighter that stays away a lot from his opponent. He doesn't box in there - he runs. We already have the plan set down. We're working on it and the fight is going to be interesting because of the size of both of us... he's tall, so am I, so he won't be able to run," Ramirez said.

:hhh:

A guy with 24 KOs out of 35 fights, 69% talking about he hopes the other guy with 18 KOs out of 22 fights, 82% will come to fights and doesn't run.

Gilberto Ramirez is an outboxer but now he acts like he'd be fukking JCC

Leave the corny Mexican fighter stereotype behind breh it doesn't fit you :hhh:
I'm also catching stereotype vibes from calling Hart a runner despite his KO ratio.
