Canelo/Chavez Jr was more entertaining than GGG/Lemieux:sas2:
:russ: GGG at least hurt and put away his opponent....one was a lesson in offensive struggle, the other was a lesson in offensive superiority..lol at Jr being fine after that while when Sergio beat him, Jr had to go under the knife for surgery..levels :sas1:

“I really want to know how much there is to make and he should come to 124. Money talks, [expletive] walks. If you give me the right money, we’ll do it. But in our reality, I’m the king of 122 and he’s 126 so we must meet in the middle.

“One and a half million for a Lomachenko fight is too little and I think it should be more,” Rigondeaux said. “Top Rank [Lomachenko’s promoter] is just too cheap.”

New Roc Nation fighter Guillermo Rigondeaux says he's ready for Vasyl Lomachenko

Turn down $1.5 million when you can barely get on TV brehs:manny:

1.5 Mil was the total purse offered to both fighters from Arum.

According to Arum in this article...he turned down whatever split was offered out of that 1.5 mil purse.

Bob Arum told BoxingScene.com on Monday morning - "Well, first of all it's wackadoo time. I mean when I was trying to make that fight I had a budget of $1.5 million for both fighters. This idiot Rigondeaux thought it was all for him and it wasn't enough. I mean he's crazy, nuts."

Arum Sounds Off on Lomachenko-Rigondeaux Possibility! - Boxing News

Maybe he was refering to the amount of the total fight purse that was offered when he says 1.5 mil isn't enough. :manny:

He didn't actually get offered 1.5 Mil though.

Canelo/Chavez Jr was more entertaining than GGG/Lemieux...and you loved watching GGG jab Lemieux over and over again in a boring affair.:sas2:

They were selling this shyt like it was going to be Marvin/ Hearns in the build up too :skip:. One of the WOAT fights i've seen live that's when I realized this nikka fanbase was manufactured shyt wasn't sold out and people were just kinda there :yeshrug: say what you want about Wlad but he had msg rocking live :wow: Thurman/Porter live was :ohlawd: too and im not a fan of the Barclary's center.

Why would he be saying that TR is being too cheap then if he wasn't a TR fighter at the time? That $1.5 mill would've been TR's offer to him, in Rigo's mind, and he said it's not enough:manny:

That's how I've always read it or he would've said "HBO is being cheap".

hell yeah..me and you though have always had different views of offensive attacks...im not impressed by heavy bag work on a walking dead opponent with no real results...just like lucas putting away molina > broner love tapping and not hurting molina to a decision and you think vice versa..i like to see some hurt my breh

I would say yes, triple g looked great in front of a big puncher.. Boxed very well, the crisp jab, the way he faints and rolls with it, he turns it to a hook.. The body punches were crucial and he stopped him.

Nope.

Canelo's offense looked unbelieveable vs Chavez. GGG looked like he was scared to really fight Lemieux and give us that "war" you GGG stans told us awaited us for watching such a poor matchup:sas2:

Either way that was enough money. $1.5 for just Rigo would have been a gross overpayment and Rigo under no circumstances would get a pass for turning that down. If we look at it for $1.5 for both guys, Rigo made 750k vs. Donaire and with the market, his weight class, his ratings, and his inactivity a similar purse would be more than fair.

What is Rigo getting for Flores?

canelo vs jr was marketed as a grudge match..it was supposed to be a special fight..a fight that actually had FOTY buzz before it happened..a rarity for a canelo or Jr match..you had great mexican fighters shyt on the fight because of how it turned out..it was a DUD...shyt lemieux beating former Jr opponent reyes senseless was more of a war...i was more concerned of Reyes being seriously hurt from 10 rounds with lemieux than Jr goin 12 with canelo..thank god for Lucas showing us what offensive hurt is suppose to look like when dished out :ohlawd:

Scared... U trolling breh?

Did you watch GGG vs Lemieux?

Did that fight look anything like the hype it was given to be a "shootout", "a war"?

Did it look like:

Golovkin v Lemieux: Hearns v Hagler II?
Sanchez: GGG-Lemieux will be like Hagler-Hearns
Hopkins: GGG-Lemieux Could Be Longer Hagler-Hearns - Boxing News
Golovkin Looking to Emulate Hagler/Hearns vs. David Lemieux - Boxing News

:mjpls:

We expected a WAR and got a jabbing exhibition from GGG instead.

U found what canelo did was impressive?.. U must have thought what Danny Garcia did to salca was impressive.

Canelo's offensive talent was so spectacular vs Chavez Jr, Abel Sanchez went from saying Canelo gets destroyed by GGG to saying it's now a 50/50 fight:mjpls:
