I don't think Rigo has the chin for a Loma fight, plus he the smaller man. Then when you add in the ring rust, Loma is the worst match up for him.
With that said, Rigo has excellent boxing skills, but realistically I think the ship has sailed on that fight ever happening.
I agree breh. Rigo is very talented, but he would be in with another fighter who is equally and maybe more talented. Rigo usually has such big advantages he can play keep away and pick his opponents with shots as he wins a relatively undramatic fight.
Loma has the skills to constantly be in front of Rigo and force him to fight in a way he has never been forced to, plus with a size advantage.
Maybe Rigo needs a great opponent in front of him to show he is more than a technically gifted fighter who has generally underachieved. Give me the active fighter, who has a mean streak, will want to take the win and not skate to it, has skills as good as anyone in boxing history, and have a size advantage.
Rigo is great, but Loma is even better to me. At this point a fight not being made is more on Rigo. Look at both Rigo and Loma's careers and see who makes more fights and follows through on what they say. So far it has easily been Loma. Rigo like a lot of other Cuban fighters needs to find better management/promotion. They aren't being showcased properly or given the fights they need.
