Have to disagree. B Dot may have stole Lux's style, but he punches way harder. Lux would've fukked Hollow and Mook up spitting the way B Dot is spitting right now.

I try to not directly compare who is better, but the thought of Lux punching with the frequency of BDot?

I've been on a similar tip with B-Dot since I saw his second or third battle (the files are available). His lines/approach are much more accessible than Lux' without being simplified... in fact, I think he makes stronger points and has more coherent, continuous rounds. But I agree with the bolded piece about him being too specialized to the real talk, though I sense that even if he continues battling, that he has no interest in changing that. He's going to preach or get personal.. but the straight up ignorant shyt seems out of play for him (kind of like everyone realizing Hoodie Lux is gone).

And while I 100% get why people see his mannerisms and cadence as a Lux rip, I have a different view. Most of ya'll in here probably have met or know a nikka that talks the way Lux raps. I ran into them in Brooklyn, Philly, Baltimore.. everywhere. It's like there's a charter school for the specific purpose of churning out these types of dudes. So when I hear B-Dot, Lux, Polight, Bobby Hemmitt, or the nikka that walks up to my car tryna sell snacks, I lump them together.

Problem is, Lux was doing it first, and big. B-Dot won't shake that unless 1. Lux strongly cosigns him openly and denounces that idea that he's a clone or 2. He battles Lux and shows the fukk out. Both seem unlikely.

Lux cosigns B. Dot whenever he's brought up to him though. They're both under the same Polight umbrella so it's not like Lux is ever going to say anything negative about him anyway, and it's extremely unlikely they'll battle for that same reason.

That's ridiculous. If you make 10 statements, if I agree with as many as 7 or 8 of them I might consider you a like minded individual. We don't have to agree on everything for me to show you respect.
Is it wrong to respect & honor someone of a different faith? Does not committing to one particular faith/religion make you "lost"? I can't learn anything from the teachings of a Buddhist/Muslim etc? I can't dap/rep anyone I want lol?

Nah it ain't nothing wrong with any of that lol, all I'm saying is that if you are "following" under the teachings of a certain person....it's just don't make sense to believe one thing while his teachings are harshly the straight up opposite.

Anyway back to battle rap....is the myers/b.dot battle really that dope?? Or is the praise a lil overhyped?
