Loki being an ally.. yes I can see that.. crew member? Nah.. but who knows.. I still think Yamato will come back as a crew mateToo late in the game IMO, I could see him being a long-term ally like Law or Bonney but I can't see the SHP getting a full new member in the final saga. It won't be the same to have a crew member that wasn't with them for 90% of the journey. Even Jinbei has been around since before the timeskip.
Plus if we can't have Yamato then I don't want anybody
Me too, Yamato's cover story reminds me of the Jinbei one. I also can't wait for Vivi's reunion with the Strawhats. Whether it's as an official crewmate or not.

If it turns into a fight they need to win or at least cause her to retreat because of the risk of losing. Like others have said other than Luffy, Zoro, and maybe Sanji the Strawhats appear significantly underpowered to this point. They do have moments but in comparison to Shanks and Blackbeard’s crew they need to level up.
