The Great Paper Chaser
I'm spinning off he Law School post.
My goal is get my degree in accounting in 3 years and start taking the CPA exam tests soon after. I'm changing careers in my early 30's but it will pay off in the end.
My first step was to become a registered IRS tax preparer which is not that hard. You apply at the IRS website and pay $64.00 to get the pin. It become official though you have to take an exam which I'm studying for right now, Another $116.00 to take it. The school im going to accepts an unlimited amount of outside credits, and I should get 3 credit hours for doing this with no problem since you also have to do 15 hours of continued education a year to maintain it.
will keep adding on as I progress.
