Ain't enough space for football fields in NYC lol, and a lot of the elite football players in New York play HS ball in Jersey. A few D1 players have come out of Brooklyn, Queens & Long Island recently tho
In the 2019 class, Nebraska got a 4 star RB named Rahmir Johnson that played at Bergen Catholic, but he was actually from Brooklyn & traveled 3 hours to school every day.
Syracuse is the only P5 school in NY & most of their players are from Florida/Jersey and they recruit the Midwest pretty hard too. Almost every Florida high schooler with 2 stars or more has a Syracuse offer
