Just saw a pic the Palmer interception went right through Ford's hands.

My observations from the game:

Bright Spots:

1st Team Def Unit... didn't see a lot of schemes but loved seeing the tenacity and focus. Tommy Kelley looked good in that small sample size. Hope it's not related to Cowgirls shytty oline.

Penalties... Wow, I only logged like 3? That's HUGE! Defense hung in there all game long.

Rod Streater.... Juron Criner who? Dude was non factor and definitely seemed nervous under the lights. He had a big play potential but looked up the field before securing the ball. Streater had like 6-7 catches and was an obvious favorite target of Leinart

DMac... looked explosive and loving how Knapp's putting DMac out wide... that screen pass worked to perfection. Hope he stays healthy.

Mike Mitchell.. got an INT, played a lot w/ the 2nd unit... looked much more fluid out there than he has in the past

The Negatives..

Jacoby Ford... looked very tentative out there... might be related to that Camp injury scare but he dropped 2 easy slants (probably cuz of footsteps) SMH

Carson Palmer... There's no reason for him to miss that safety helping on that 1st drive INT. WTF was that? To Ford no less?

RB Corp... Definitely missed Goodsen and Taiwan out there...

Prior... Um, he's a huge project. The only plays he made were on his feet but i'll be damn at his progressions. He got happy feet and the OLine didn't help much. I'd like to see them bring him in this season to run some wildcat plays near the goal line.

Missed FG's... anemic scoring, I think this is going to go on throughout the season. Defense looked better but I do expect a lot of low scoring, close games.

Yeah, the 3 penalties was prolly what stuck out the most. Can't count how many games were lost off dumb ass penalties. Right now the biggest questionmarks are at corner and QB. If McFadden can stay healthy this is a playoff team imo, I don't see the Peyton experiment working out.

To be honest, I think Carson is done. He just ain't been the same since that knee injury, plus I can see him struggling with the bootlegs. He's a typical Al type of QB ironically enough but I can't see it working. Knapp gotta do what it takes to develop Pryor.

smh, and Benson signed with GB. We shoulda got him to backup McFadden.

I wont throw the book at Carson yet... I need to see how he does with with favorite oft-injured target Denarius Moore.

He just needs to stop throwing the ball deep.

Wassup with Jacoby Ford besides Carson he was the most disappointing Raider out there. I don't want jump the gun being it was just the first preseason game; but dude look like shyt muffin punts, drop balls and having alligator arms. Don't he work with Tony Villani and train with Chris carter in the off season. I know his bffs Cambell and Murphy are gone; so hopefully it dont affect his production and this nikka steps up don't burn out like the past young raider Wrs this last decade.I got high hopes for him especially after rookie season when making big plays in the return game and as a receiver snagging balls in midair. At best i hope he he can be the equivalent of what Desean is in Philly to our Raiders.
