already signed that contract-- The Daniel Bryan vs. AJ Styles match on Smackdown was only known by a few people backstage. On the Smackdown format sheet, the listing stated a "Styles/Bryan in-ring segment" that would open the show and then a "match" going through two segments instead of listing who would actually be wrestling in the match.
-- It is unclear if the finish of this match was intended as "punishment" for Bryan backing out of Crown Jewel. Not only did he - as a main event babyface - cleanly submit on a televised match, but he was then choked out by Samoa Joe when he tried to save Styles. The feeling is that it was likely a "message to the rest of the talent", according to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter.
-- On the latest Observer Radio, the discussion even went as far as to suggest that Vince McMahon may actually now view Bryan as a mid-card type of performer, since he has a very strong opinion of his top main event babyfaces never submitting on television under any scenario. With Bryan tapping out, there is much uncertainty about how McMahon ultimately views him as a performer
Ronda is number 1The pro wrestling accomplishments continue to pile up for Ronda Rousey.
The UFC Hall Of Famer and first-ever UFC Women's Champion was one of the main events of WrestleMania in her first official WWE match, won the RAW Women's Championship and headlined WWE's first-ever all-women's pay-per-view event.
And she's just getting started!
Rousey added to her growing list of career accomplishments by being ranked number one in Pro Wrestling Illustrated's"Women's 100" list. She took to social media this weekend to comment on the honor.
"Humbled by being selected No. 1 in the @OfficialPWI 'Women’s 100,'" wrote Rousey via her official Twitter page on Friday. "So many talented women could have been chosen. I’m grateful for them all!"

A WWE Superstar tied the knot this week.
Former NXT Women's Champion and current RAW Superstar Ember Moon married independent wrestler Matthew Palmer at a ceremony held in Las Vegas, Nevada a few days ago.
Following the ceremony, which had a special Game Of Thrones / Harry Potter theme, Natalya and Jason Cade took to social media to congratulate their friends.
