-- The Daniel Bryan vs. AJ Styles match on Smackdown was only known by a few people backstage. On the Smackdown format sheet, the listing stated a "Styles/Bryan in-ring segment" that would open the show and then a "match" going through two segments instead of listing who would actually be wrestling in the match.

-- It is unclear if the finish of this match was intended as "punishment" for Bryan backing out of Crown Jewel. Not only did he - as a main event babyface - cleanly submit on a televised match, but he was then choked out by Samoa Joe when he tried to save Styles. The feeling is that it was likely a "message to the rest of the talent", according to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter.

-- On the latest Observer Radio, the discussion even went as far as to suggest that Vince McMahon may actually now view Bryan as a mid-card type of performer, since he has a very strong opinion of his top main event babyfaces never submitting on television under any scenario. With Bryan tapping out, there is much uncertainty about how McMahon ultimately views him as a performer
:ahh: already signed that contract
The pro wrestling accomplishments continue to pile up for Ronda Rousey.

The UFC Hall Of Famer and first-ever UFC Women's Champion was one of the main events of WrestleMania in her first official WWE match, won the RAW Women's Championship and headlined WWE's first-ever all-women's pay-per-view event.

And she's just getting started!

Rousey added to her growing list of career accomplishments by being ranked number one in Pro Wrestling Illustrated's"Women's 100" list. She took to social media this weekend to comment on the honor.

"Humbled by being selected No. 1 in the @OfficialPWI 'Women’s 100,'" wrote Rousey via her official Twitter page on Friday. "So many talented women could have been chosen. I’m grateful for them all!"

Additionally, "Rowdy" Ronda appeared on the Pro Wrestling Illustrated Presentspodcast to talk further on the subject. Check out the complete interview at Podbean.com.
Ronda is number 1:dead:
A WWE Superstar tied the knot this week.

Former NXT Women's Champion and current RAW Superstar Ember Moon married independent wrestler Matthew Palmer at a ceremony held in Las Vegas, Nevada a few days ago.

Following the ceremony, which had a special Game Of Thrones / Harry Potter theme, Natalya and Jason Cade took to social media to congratulate their friends.

Being a mid carder is probably what Bryan actually wants. It means he can go out and have 10-20 minutes to fill time on TV and PPVs and do whatever in endless matches with no angles instead of get bogged down with stupid storylines

Half the sheets said he wanted to put Styles over clean and that was the intended finsh at Crown Jewel.
I dont know if it was punishment or not, hes been eating a few clean pins knowing he's stilll over since coming back (Shelton, Joe, Rusev)

This is the same dude who said when he got the IC belt he wanted to defend it exclusivley on Smackdown (which actually would have been cool and elevated it at the same time as Cena doing it with the US belt on Raw pre brand split but it would also me less time on the flagship show if any) so maybe he just wired different

Unfortunatley even if he was punished I dont think WWE has to worry about a fan revolt like before, I got this bad feeling the thrill is gone for some fans:mjcry:
