"50/50" helmer Jonathan Levine is directing the film.

Masters of Sex star Lizzy Caplan will joinSeth Rogen and Joseph Gordon-Levittin Untitled Christmas Eve Movie.

Rogen and Gordon-Levitt's 50/50director, Jonathan Levine, is helming Sony's new comedy, which he also wrote.

Anthony Mackie is also starring in the film, which revolves around three childhood best friends who reunite in New York City for their annual tradition of going out on Christmas Eve.

Caplan will play Diana, a love interest to Gordon-Levitt's character.

Rogen and Evan Goldberg's Point Grey Pictures is producing along with Good Universe. Production starts next week in New York City.

Caplan stars on the TV series Masters of Sex and will next be seen on the big screen with Rogen in The Interview. She's repped by WME, Mosaic and Jackoway Tyerman.

50/50’s Jonathan Levine will once again direct the pair.

Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Seth Rogen are reteaming with their 50/50 director, Jonathan Levine, for a currently untitled Sony comedy.

Deadline reports that the film is about three childhood friends who reunite in New York City for their old tradition of going out on Christmas Eve. No word yet on who will play the third friend.

Levine (Warm Bodies) also wrote the film, which will start shooting this summer. I wonder if JGL, who is working on a Sandman movie, and Rogen, who is working on a Preacher TV show, will compare Vertigo notes while on set?
