It sucks I got a beer or two with a couple of my friends it might of well been a farewell in my mind . You couldn't tell me something terrible wasn't gonna go down but the morning of the surgery on the way to the hospital I was pretty calm and .

Let me also give you some tips they hope to get you out of there as quickly as possible I dont know what your getting but for me they said 3 days it ended being 5 and my roomate was supposed to be out after a day and he was there for 3 so you might be there longer then they say just take it as a sort of mental vacation where you can just relax and be care free for a couple of days even if it's fukking boring and fustrating.

Your stamina is gonna probably be fukked when I got home they told me to take walks I would walk to the end of my block at a slow pace at be but it comes back pretty quick so don't be discouraged.

its actually the anesthesia part that is more lethal than the actual surgery/surgical complication part (and of course the sterility/infections).

Get sleep and clear your mind, that's all there is to it.

Aftertaste of anesthesia when you wake up is the worst.
