Show returns tonight on FOX, I have my DVR set. Last season ended with Nick and Jess agreeing to try being together and taking off in the car. Schmidt was forced to choose between CeCe and his college girl and took off running. The writers still struggled to find ways to utilize Winston.

This season features the return of Damon Wayans Jr. as Coach.

So nobody else watched the premiere? I thought it started out slow, but got funnier as it went along. They are still trying to find things for Winston to do, as evidenced by the puzzles but hearing being colorblind was funny.

They already played out the "tension" between Nick/Jess last season, let's hope it isn't just a merry-go-round of the same over and over until the show ends.

This show definitely isn't good enough to watch week by week, there are way too many misses. Wait a few months and watch a solid three hour block, you'll have more appreciation for it.

It caught the HIMYM disease like 5 seasons early. Already have the love interest conflict, the best character already turned into something he wasn't.

First episode was ass. Nick and Jess running off to Mexico was a waste. I don't get Winston being color blind and I didn't think it was funny at all.

Tonight's episode was cool. Why did they have to play Winston like that? It was funny that he kept her cat but shorty was bad and I wanted to see more of her. Schmidt is a fool out here two timing these girls. I wonder how that will play out. The end with Nick and Jess was funny.

I agree this episode was better than the premiere. I see Schmidt ending back up with Cece, but if he keeps playing both of them I could see him losing them both and having to win Cece back again. Cool to see Angela pop up as one of Jess' teacher friends and June (apt 23) as well.

That's good for her and bad for us. She's a PYT and was part of a decent storyline that was developing for Winston. Now he will probably be on permanent comic relief again which was a chief complaint of mine for him. I wonder how long they will drag Schmidt's situation out. If he chooses Cece, where does he go? If he chooses ol girl, where can that possibly go? I knew since they made Jess and Nick kiss during that game night that it would be a painted into the corner situation. You cannot make them a happy couple because that heavily changes the show's dynamic. I'm still watching because I really like this show.
