Are these games decided like before the season or something cause if they just assumed that Houston would be houston from last season. Then it would be a team with nothing to play for vs weak team that's not making the playoffs.

Which we basically are getting now (although Suns have slim chance of reaching play in and cavs could in a wild world lose 4 in a row)

OKC got top seed wrapped up. Lakers might not even go that hard because they play Dallas tomorrow on ESPN.

Not worth starting that game at 9 central since Celtics /Knicks are on at the same time they are.

Yupp that's what it is. The full schedule comes out at like July/August before the season starts. And "marquee matchups" are based on the previous season. Understandable why Houston didn't have a lot of those big national TV games, and why the Suns had way too many
