Some people don't know the difference between MTDNA & YDNA vs. Autosomal DNA. Some people watch these shows and get the wrong idea. I'm not even going to get started, it's a pet peeve of mine.

The "BUCKEYE" Nation
One of the problems with these genetic tests, from my understanding is that there's no uniform database. Different companies have their own proprietary databases, so you could go to one company, and they'll tell you you're from this tribe, but you go to another, and they'll tell you you're from another tribe. Plus, every generation the number of ancestors you have double. In ten generations, you have 512 great, great, great, great, great, great, great grandparents. How do you decide that you're going to identify with 2 of the ancestors you find if your a male, and not with the other 510 :manny:?
