Which TV series had better VFX and generally felt more "big budget" & cinematic, like you were watching a movie? :jbhmm:

I have to say big budget TV series like this may be my preferred format for epic stories now, even over films :leon:

the Marvel shows are gonna be str8 piff if Mando is anything to go by; they will fit seamlessly into the MCU unlike those shytty low-budget Netflix adaptations :scusthov:

The Mandalorian week to week looked bigger budget but Game of Thrones was able to make up for the lack of special effects budget by filming in some beautiful locations.. Game of Thrones has some big budget movie style cinematography in some of those war time episodes..

The episode where there it's snowing ash is very well done despite the story itself jumping the shark.

I'm going with The Mandalorian week to week though...

It's not so much the budget even though the MCU shows will be big budget... it's the color grading. They will make sure all the shows have similar color grading to the movies so it all looks like it's part of the same story.
