The next year Mike Wang left EA after just one year and went back to 2K. Mike Wang helped in making NBA 2K11, which some considered to be the best basketball video game of all time. While 2K had huge success with NBA 2k11, EA failed to put out a basketball game. Since Mike Wang was the brains behind NBA Live 10. Him leaving was like killing the body by chopping off the head. Many EA supports want NBA Live to go back to the NBA Live 10 format. But it's hard to recreate that same format when the mastermind is no longer there.
