Welp. They shot themselves in the foot, those credits bring productions to the state and also buttress businesses that serve the film industry (transportation, catering, props, etc)

I've seen it first hand in Georgia from my time working in the industry. Georgia's TV and film tax credits are the highest/most issued tax credit in the NATION. It's cheaper to shoot in GA plus we have a ton of qualified workers. It's crazy how much the industry has changed from 2013 when I started to 2023 when I left
