WWE Universal champion Brock Lesnar has been advertised for the live event in Detroit, Michigan on 29th July 2017.

This particular live event is of significant notice because the live show is actually a SmackDown exclusive show, which is set to feature The Beast Incarnate in the main event against the 2017 Money in the Bank winner, Baron Corbin for the Universal Championship.

The other matches set to take place in Detroit are Randy Orton vs Jinder Mahal (WWE Championship), Sami Zayn vs AJ Styles vs Kevin Owens (United States Championship) and features from other SmackDown superstars such as Shinsuke Nakamura, Naomi, Charlotte, The New Day, Becky Lynch and more.

This live event is set to be WWE’s last at the Joe Louis Arena. The capacity at the stadium is just over 20,000 and it is set to be demolished later in 2017.

The Joe Louis arena has overseen some iconic moments in WWE, some of which are:

• 1995: Big Show makes WCW debut – defeats Hulk Hogan & wins WCW World Heavyweight Championship;
• 1998: Stone Cold gatecrashes WWF Championship presentation with a zamboni;
• 1999: The Rock throws Stone Cold into the Detroit River;
• 1999: Kurt Angle makes his debut at Survivor Series;
• 2002: John Cena makes his PPV debut vs Chris Jericho;
• 2009: Randy Orton wins Royal Rumble;
• 2010: John Cena defeats Batista in an I Quit Match;
• 2016: Shane McMahon returns to Monday Night RAW.
