I hope gamestop ships this so that I receive it on release day…worst case scenario I’ll pick one up on game day and return the one that arrives late

Im debating whether I should cop the digital and play on Thursday or just wait to get it Friday

I’ve maintained zero dark 30 on this game, all I know is you can craft that’s it I haven’t seen any gameplay besides the trailer :wow:

I hope the frames are good that’s it
Physical might be the play if you're thinking long-term. This about to be on that high-resale shelf down the road.

With that said, when it comes to actually playing, no one can convince me digital ain't the way. :manny:

How many themed dungeons and key weapons/items?
Looks like the 4 basic elements are the only real dungeons.

Hyrule and Ganon's Castle ain't really dungeons. The sorta set up like Hyrule Castle in the first game and Ganon's Castle is a Boss Rush

There's a Zonai-themed Temple but its not traditional. People are counting it as the 5th dungeon though.

It looks like it's the same count as in BOTW if you include DLC. They had 5 dungeons (that are divine beast challenges). People are excited because there are areas in ToTK that give them "dungeon-like experience even though they aren't actually dungeons.

Oh yeah the dungeons in ToTK are called Temples

So basically this is gearing up to be more of the same?
I mean for those that rocked with it that's cool. For me, it doesn't sound like nearly enough to bring me back around with any kind of urgency.

As far as Key Items and Weapons go...

A second stamina bar is all that's needed to aquire the Master Sword. You can easily get that after 20 shrines. Just find Zelda and pull it out of her dragon head. Speaking of Shrines, after completing all 152 (120 on the ground just like BOTW + 32 on the Sky Islands) you unlock an outfit that makes you look like the ancient Zonai hero in the murals of BOTW (we used to think it was Link or Ganon in that mural but this whole time it was a Zonai). The only ability that gives you is Master Sword Beam Up.
Speaking of Shrines
There are 120 shrines on the ground but exactly underneath these 120 shrines are the 120 Lightroots in The Depths. Light those all up to receive a medal.

Remember the Travel Medallion from BOTW DLC?

You now get 3 Travel Medallions. You can get swallowed by an enemy and still teleport out of their stomach.

The first couple Korok Seed storage upgrades are 1, 2, 3, 5, 8, 12, 17 that I know of so far.

You can unlock a costume that lets you lose rupees instead of health by selling bubble gems to the monster seller guy's brother.

DLC and Amiibo items from BOTW are available underground. Not Wolf Link though unfortunately. He ain't in the game.

Yeah they are already complaining on resetera. They're even saying the story is presented the same way. Gotta unlock it through collecting memories again. However, this game does NOT play the same. It's harder. They turned up the difficulty and this Gloom shyt has also made it harder. Enemies can one-hit kill you more than ever.

Also, the Zonai equipment we've seen so far was only half the shyt that's actually in the game. and building stuff can get really complicated. I seen a dude built an actual Catapult. He put a Korok on there and shot him into the sky on some Angry Birds shyt. Can't do that in BOTW.

If you fuse a cart to your shield you can grind the rails like Sonic the fukking Hedgehog.

It's a ridiculous amount of variety compared to BOTW

How far do I have to progress in the story to find Zelda? I already have two stamina bars
