So this gotta be the Switch’s swan song before their new console right?
Which will probably be released on it like BOTW was?

Twilight princess is very unmemorable, i can’t think of anyone that would ever consider it their favorite zelda (its ugly as hell too). Wind Waker is niche as hell, even if you can get past the sailing aspects it’s still not one of the strongest games design wise, skyward sword is super whatever.

BoTW feels like the first time they got almost everything right and brought in a lot of new fans. Another 3d-dungeon zelda would have had the series trending toward metroid status
It doesn't have to be "Puzzle filled dungeon Twilight Princess 2.0" to have dungeons. Dungeons in BOTW would've not made the game worse.

if anything, removing about half of the shrines and making them into more complex dungeons with it's own themes would've been miles better than the shyt they had in BOTW. Heck, having traditional dungeons over those garbage divine beats "dungeons" would've been pleasant.

The formula wouldn't have to be completely different with dungeons. Just like how Mario Odyssey greatly incorporated the shines directly into the overworld instead of them being "paintings" or small levels. We'll see how this one does.

This and Pikmin 4 seem to be the last ones.

I do wonder if they are waiting after the Mario movie clears before making any potential announcements.

Tho I would be shocked if it wasn’t backwards compatible

They did go a lil over kill with the number of shrines. But gamers these days need every game to have 1000 hours of content n shyt.:beli:

Yeah, themed dungeons and less shrines is more along the lines of what i want.

Still a giant empty open world that they're charging the $70 for with no trophies or achievements on a outdated system?! :camby:
