I noticed it around the mid 00s (this is just my experience tho not saying it’s a rule)…to be fair there was a decent age gap between myself (very early 30s) and the women I was messing around with (very early 20s) that I’m sure factored into it as well…cellphones and social media were nowhere what they are now but it was starting (FB and myspace were definitely around…maybe blackplanet too lol…but FB was either limited to college students or they had just removed that restriction) and cellphones had very slow/limited online capabilities but they were becoming more accessible to everyone…but even having a lengthy/decent phone convo with some women back then seemed “impossible” as they were always distracted and on their cellphone/computer at the same time
