Yea they couldve stretched it out and fleshed out a few more things. Like more background for the KC stuff etc.
Yea like they low key did a beautiful job of world building and and I'm like if I could see a little more of this or that.
You will get a lot of world building for season 2 most likely. Mazin and Druckmann have made it pretty clear they want to go deep into the stuff we see in TLOU Part 2. So we'll probably get to see how all of those notes/letters/expositions from the second game came to be and season 3 will be more about the action and the main theme from Part 2.

Exactly. The game made you feel how high the stakes were. This not so much at times.
That's very hard to do in a TV show that tries to be as "realistic" as the premise lets them. I don't really want to watch episodes of gameplay with Joel and Ellie having to face infected regularly to make it clear that they have had a rough time. I think implying that the road has been hard by showing snippets of how much of a menace the infected can be is fine :manny:

Very rushed. Especially when 2 out of the 9 episodes are not apart of the main story line. Show seems like a money grab with faux artistry. Joel went from hating Ellie to doing the mission for his old lady to crying disappointed he might not get Ellie to the final spot in like 2-3 episodes. I might be biased because I played the game and the show doesn't really add anything or make things you already know captivating. Ellie not leaving Joel and stitching him up was the only genuine heartfelt thing between their relationship I felt so far
I haven't heard nor read any non-gamer complain about Joel and Ellie's relationship and how it has evolved in the TV show. So "I played the game" bias is pretty strong, I'd say.

Hol up... Are u talking about Ellie or the actress that plays ellie?
the actress that plays ellie is 19-

and wanting to fukk a 19 isnt pedo - pedophiles want CHILDREN - not teens or young teens and not young adults - they want pre pubescent ( ie before puberty ) or they want someone who looks like they are preteen....

if its a new girl in all the adult porn you see the odds are they are 19 years old

People name dropping characters that haven’t been on screen yet or talking about waiting to see the people that complained about the Bill & Frank ep keep the same energy for this latest episode. Talking about people are going to be in their feelings when season 2 does whatever happened in the game. All that shyt is spoiler territory. You said no one talking about future episodes this season, I don’t know what thread you’ve been in but these people been doing that since the show started.
ok but name dropping isnt giving out spoilers - esp if its a name that mean nothing - i i say i cant wait til george shows up and you have no idea who george is that isnt a spoiler -- if i say i cant wait for george to kill or do X Y or Z or say im waiting fot an instance occur with george, THATS a spoiler

no one has done that at all - people have only refered to shyt that has already occured on the show once it airs on sunday - or they may talk about the preview for the next week -

if you havnt seen the latest ep and you dont want to see or read any of that you shouldnt be in this thread...and if this thread is so full of spoilers and that spoils the show for you, why would you come in here AGAIN after having already having something spoiled once???

thats kinda crazy thinking bruh

Which is why i said i might be bias. But Non gamers dont know how the story goes and ends so they cant even critique or comment on how rushed it is

Each to their own, there was literally no aspect of Days Gone that was better than TLOU imo

>>> traveling in a post apocalypse world then on the horses

giphy.gif
>>> then all the TLOU inflected

but as you rightfully said … to each is own ….:hubie:

During their conversation about The Mandalorian Season 3, Weintraub naturally took the opportunity to check in with Pascal about The Last of Us, asking if there's a chance they'll begin filming Season 2 sometime later this year. As he can't reveal too much, Pascal answered somewhat playfully saying, "In the year 2023? Oh, what season are we in now? We're getting into spring?" Ultimately, he came around to specifics saying, "Yes, there is a chance. Yes."

Show recommendation if you like The Last of Us (and is open to reading subtitles):

The South Korean Netflix show All of Us Are Dead. It's a high school zombie show that has (in my opinion) the perfect blend of drama/emotion and action/horror (aka zombies/infected). It came out in January 2022, 12 episodes. There's going to be a Season 2 but no release date has been announced yet.

It's exactly what they've done. Not on some  shyt, but, to your point, Bella's jeans are way baggier than what they were in both games. And her shirts are oversized. Storm Reid was towering over her like Bane was towering over Dagget in The Dark Knight Rises. :dead:

That wasn't the case in the game; they were way closer in size and frame.

To your point with the hair: it's pulled back and tied up like you said. But even in Last of Us 1, it wasn't like that. She had really prominent bangs shaded to one side.

For me, that is actually the biggest departure for Ellie in the show, physically speaking. There was something off with Bella's Ellie, aside from the looks, and I couldn't figure out what it was till I went back and played Left Behind a few weeks ago. It's the hair. I feel like they should've adhered to the game's hairstyle. But you can't deny that she looks younger. Truth be told, I ain't like what they did with Tess' hair either. :hubie:

Breh are you a homosexual? or a female?

Did you really type out "I didn't like what they did with Tess hair either":dahell:

Hard to to decide if I like this show more or less than I would have if I didn’t play the games. I’m curious if non-game players care much about Joel and Ellie based only on the show?

The show has definitely crossed over past and beyond video game players just like Game Of Thrones transcended the book readers.

This is a bonafide HIT series there’s no way it does the numbers its doing or gets the acclaim its gotten if viewers don’t care about the two MAIN LEADS
