Just saw it. The cinematography 
I enjoyed this film as a black man who been working and going to school in San Francisco the majority of my 20s and as someone who remembers it before the real estate crash & subsequent 2nd tech boom.
Its a deeply personal film with some pacing issues but a lot of heartfelt moments to spare.
It’s a shame that we’ll likely never get a we’ll-produced period film on the Fillmore... one of the most beautiful historically black neighborhoods anywhere in America period.
