I've always loved Ross' compositions and never missed an episode. He made creating landscapes easy for anyone to achieve.

I've always enjoyed the wink he got in a Boondocks episode with Riley.

You'd be like 'Damn, this is starting to look pretty good.'

Then all of a sudden he smears something right in the middle and you're like 'What the fukk is that? He just messed up the whole painting!'

Then he starts touching it up and explains what he's doing as it starts to come together and you're like

Then he finishes it and it looks even better than before and you have no clue how he could've envisioned it working out like that when he put the damn smear there.

Bob Ross da GAWD indeed.

what's really amazing is how he can manage to talk the entire time while painting, there is no "dead air" as radio people would call it.

i randomly copped this

on amazon a couple months back and just got around to actually painting.


never painted in my life ever. this is how it came out

they give you some of the brushes, but not all the ones he uses in the video it comes with. definitely something i would try again though.
