The Jordan Poole era in DC is already troubling! Is there hope?!

Will Jordan Poole finish his contract as a Washington Bullet?

Its unlikely that Poole is on the autistic spectrum. I think a lot of posters here put that on other people because they themselves are not "neurotypical".

The behavior of a person "on the spectrum" will generally be driven by a difficulty/different way of relating to and empathizing with others. Oftentimes eye contact is difficult for these people and their sense of humor is harder to recognize / different than most peoples.

Attention deficit is not the same thing, but many autistic people may suffer from it. Poole's casual behavior in the huddle in OP and not focusing in with the rest of the team might be attention deficit (it might be something completely unrelated, as well).

But Poole is not autistic. He doesn't seem to be a great ballplayer either. But he is rich and bagging baddies. Coli brehs is autistic and jealous of Poole.

he is just a space cadet who is getting revealed because he doesn't have the safety net of a vet team around him to hide his issues

He shouldn't have ever been the coach..fake ass Bullets nostalgia hire.. you would think Abe Polin was still the owner with that dumb shyt
@Heavy_Handz

Unseld was in the running for other HC jobs during his time with the Nuggets. Him getting the job isn’t just nostalgia for his pops. He was qualified. But the issue is he is a first time HC and little roster continuity or Tommy Sheppard botching things like Johnny Davis being picked or passing on Haliburton after telling him he was the pick don’t help. Imagine if they kept their word to Haliburton and took a Jalen Duren or Jalen Williams at 10 in 2022?

Also the new front office with Michael Winger and Will Dawkins isn’t in a hurry to fire him. Winger has said that Wes was in the running for the Clippers job in 2020 after they fired Doc Rivers post-Bubble. Winger said Wes was impressive to the Balmer, Frank, and him during the interview process.

You also had Michael Malone, Jamal Murray and Nikola Jokic pushing for Wes to get the job. And by pushing they all talked to Ted Leonsis.

The reigning league MVP lobbying hard for him doesn’t happen every day.

Him being Wes’ Sr.’s son was icing on the cake for Leonsis who loves a good story. Unseld Sr. died in 2020.

Facts.

But you know, "some people" are fans of these goofy ass players who are combative to a coach and their instructions.
@David_TheMan is right

Someone like Randy Wittman is needed. He had no offensive system but he had dudes playing defense.

Ideally Unseld has a graceful exit and the Bullets can hire a new coach who has a proven track record of developing young guys.

They sucked last year with Beal & Porzingis.

Yeah due to faulty roster design by Sheppard. Delon Wright was their 4th best player and the defense collapsed without him.

Beal missed 30 games.

They lost 10 in a row in December going from 11-10 to 11-20.

They then went 19-12 when Beal was back. They then collapsed after the All Star Break.

You honestly think Unseld deserves a 4th season? Especially after this season? They aren’t even competitive. Won’t win 20 games.

Wizards will get the first picks after this season and won’t get a franchise guy and miss out on Flagg in 2025. You already know. Don’t do it to yourself :mjlol:
I have way more confidence in who’s doing the picking now though. Will Dawkins got one in Bilal.

I think he can hit again.
