I think this teaming up thing is a direct relfextion of thses guys watching as kids jordan winning titles being "the man"
....i wanna be like mike campain never mind that team ball won the title all thoses years so by the time vince and kobe and that 96 draft came in every one tried to do it themsleves and they wasted so much of their prime doing it. But kobe landed in a great place he was on the bench so he did not have to get a team and lead them right of the bat so he was the only one to win. but the yonger ones like wade lebron and others said fukk that lets not do it to themsleves and get the best team....
...Edit team ball meaning the celtics and lakers etc...no one man can do it alone you have to have some one else able to generate his own offence.
