I read the book this was based on by Robert Mazur in like 2009, and I found it an interesting enough read, a white collar 'Blow'. These narrators, usually ex federal agents and the like are often so egotistical and self obsessed, their books border on masterbation on the page. It's been years since I read it, but I remember the self praise and ego just bleeding through every page. I think the movie could be better then the book, as long as they go for realism and not Hollywood cliches for the Colombians....Is this based in the early 90's, or did they update it?
