I know it's old, but does anyone else f-cking hate this song?



1. The chorus sounds it was approved by a group of moody 14-year-old girls. This is Dr. Dre? And not Avril Lavigne? For real?

2. Most of the song is Eminem SCREAMING at Dre to get his life together. Who wants to hear a song about that? Seriously...who? It's such a bummer.

3. Dre's verse. Let me get this straight: Dr. Dre is rapping lyrics Eminem wrote about how much Dr. Dre likes Eminem. That's not creepy at all!

4. The unintentionally funny music video. Dr. Dre showing off his steroids, Eminem doing his "acting" face, the mopey angels floating in the air...wtf? If Eazy-E and 2pac were alive today, they would kill themselves again.

5. The Dr. Dre & Eminem team once made songs like "Forgot About Dre" and "What's The Difference." Just listen to those songs, and how they bump, and how in the pocket they are with the flows. Now they're rapping over f-cking Alex Da Kidd beats, and the flows are so wordy and awkward.

It's bad, and I hope the fact that they realized this is the reason Detox stalled after releasing two singles. Kush was sonically good, but the song was far from 11 year wait worthy.

the sad shyt is that this was one of the records which leaked when that random dude was leakin Interscope songs & even after that some idiot convinced Dre to drop this as a single


I guess it went 2x or 3x platinum and would've been more acceptable as an Eminem single but really, a Dr. Dre single? For fukkin Detox?

this single and "kush" were never made for an "ALBUM"

Word makes sense, wasn't really a big push behind Dre releasing Detox. It was more just him putting out music and putting his name out there on a major scale. The shyt he is dropping with Kendrick now though is tough.
