Just wrapped up the 8-part miniseries "The Honourable Woman" (It's a BBC series hence the U in the spelling of honorable)

As much as I am not a fan of Maggie Gyllenhaal, this show was amazingly well done.
Lubna Azabal, who played Atika, was fantastic.

It's about a brother and sister basically trying to fix the sins of their father and his role in the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.

It really starts to pick up around episode 3 but if you have the time, I highly recommend it.

I'm pretty sure it's just a 1-shot deal, even though Netflix lists the show as Season 1.

It's kind of what you wish Showtime's Homeland could be.

I tried to pimp it on the Netflix thread but only a couple of people watched it :heh:

I loved it. It was Homeland at it's best and even better at times. I also don't like Maggie Gyllenhaal, and thought she cried way too much in the series (it was like Carrie's "crazy/crying face" in Homeland) but it didn't really matter. The story was piff, it was an outstanding thriller.

shyt is piff. The twists and turns reminds me of Hugo Blick's previous series, "The Shadow Line"
