"The Holy Mountain" what does the coli think of this film?

so i just ordered the blu ray and will watch it again in the next few days.

I ain't ever tried to analyze it, just love all the surrealist imagery, although if you're even mildly familiar with the oppressive government regimes common in Latin american history, then you'll see a lot of obvious shyt.

This + Alucarda really makes me want to go into Mexican cinema. I might fukk around and go watch a luchador film like Santo y Blue Demon vs. Frankenstein

Ill admit I almost didn't make it through the first act, before the Jesus figure meets the Alchemist in the obelisk. Especially when I ran into this scene
