Growing up near Temple & Lincoln U has been such a blessing with the amount of scholars in close proximity.

Temple's Africana Studies program enlightened many students...changed the way students viewed the world. Some of my most influential professors included Nathaniel Norment, Molefi Assante, and Karanja Carroll.

We left the AFAM courses with more pride and more awareness.
