Man, she was immensely talented…that voice is like nothing we’ve heard before. That is some of Stevie’s best production, I swear.

Hell of a streak, for sure. But I’ve had to rethink my opinion of Quincy’s contributions to those albums. He often gets credited as the composer/arranger when in reality other people produced a lot of those tracks, including Michael. I know producers don’t “just make the beats” and he ultimately packaged it all together. A producer’s producer…if that makes any sense? I’m probably going off on a tangent best suited for another discussion in the booth.
