Mine is Gza - Swordsman. I think it's perfect in every way. the dirt, the grime, those drums, that haunting sample and all the little extra sounds....Amazing.

I literally haven't stopped listening to that song regularly since the album dropped.

I've heard too many ill ass beats in my life time to narrow it down to just one beat, but this one is top 50 to me. Prolly one of the hardest beats ever made

Very True...if you ask me to rank #2-100 it would be impossible :russ: but this one stands out to me.

it was Hev that first utilized the (now commonplace but then? a production quagmire) time compression production method for samples playing in the same bpms but using different keys (see “Love Sexy” on Blue Funk, historical hip hop 1st in production)
