Also, I'm not a misogynist like most of the Coli guys, but I thought it was fukked up that the one time a female protagonist is portrayed as being flawed/damaged, it ends up being all explained away as because of a man gaslighting her

This movie was legit terrible. For the longest time I thought this was from the writer who wrote Gone Girl, but it is not.

I didn't like it that much. It had a good concept and Jennifer Lawrence's twin was on point, as was Emily blunt, but it was just kinda all over the place and uneven.

I predicted the twist about 10 minutes into the film. That's not a problem in itself, a good film is a good film regardless. But I sat there for the next hour and a half wondering how they were going to reveal it. The way they chose to reveal it ended up being way more underwhelming than the fan fiction I was writing in my head. These type of suburban murder porn movies live and die by their tension and good reveals but this lacked that imo.


It was well acted though, and as someone else said, beautifully shot.

I also thought that the blonde chick was Jennifer Lawrence without the moles

just watched it....i thought it was a really good flick....i love the multi dimensional films that seem to go all over the place but come together collectively at the end....none of it was a dead giveaway and the story was well played out....8/10 for me...
