I would in no way categorize it as scary (although my lady was cradled in the fetal position watching it, she got tickets to go to one of those theaters with seats like lazboys). But it was just creepy. The angles, the use of shaky cam and the ending. If you fukk with Paranormal Activity in the slightest you owe it to yourself to see it. The first 45 min you'll probably wanna kill the kid that got them into the school because he's annoying as fukk, but once shyt went down, like I said, the camera work and panning around and just the idea of being in that scenario in a creepy ass school...nah bruh.

Completely different from the horror movies coming out past 15 years, very reminiscent to throwback Freddy Kreuger type horror. I enjoyed it very much.
Heard a lot of people thinking it was corny though as they left the theater, i mean it's very straight forward, and it's the same thing happening all movie, but it was fun.

It had its moments but overall, it was an average horror movie. The mythology is cool enough but the characters were all unlikable as hell and the likable one was boring as hell, meaning i felt nothing when people started dying, which is not what you want in a horror movie.
