I live in an area where a disprotiante number of its residents were directly affected by the government shutdown. This area, unlike the places where most of the furloughed government employees were told to stay home, required (by law) that these negroes still go to work and perform their duties........... even tho they were not going to be paid until the furlough situation was resolved. They required these people to go to work because it was deemed that the jobs they did were essential duties that could not be left unperformed even during the shutdown. So basically, it was essential to have them work during the shutdown..........but it was not essential to pay them.

Whats crazy is, most of the cotton pickin negroes who were required to work while their fellow furloughed brehtren was at home playing gta v, instead of simply refusing to go in until they were paid, went in damn near everyday and worked just as hard as before the furlough.

This is the reason the furlough went on as long as it did and while it will continue to be an option for congress to use in budget appropriation sessions.

If the tasks those monkey negroes were required to do were left undone..........those congressman would have had no federal police to protect them while they stalled..................alot social security reciepants would have stopped recieving their monthly checks................Alot of EBT cards wouldnt have worked............and all that budget shyt would have gotten hammered out ASAP.........

but nah.............these monkey ******s still went to work........for free.............while massa debated about what scraps to toss them with no interruption to his livelihood.

So.............if u were a federal employee, that was required by law to go to work..........for free..............what would you have done.........

Let the :duck: begin

Well what happens if they refuse to work?
Could they be arrested?
I imagine at the very least they'd be fired once the Govt Shutdown ended.

The furlough lasted 2 weeks. People work for 2 weeks without getting paid all the time.

The benefit of keeping that fed job (with all the benefits and job security that people in the private sector are losing) and maybe having your check delayed by a couple week is worth more than being able to pound your chest in a Ladies Room thread about how you :damn: "WASNT TAKIN NO SCRAPS" :damn:
